Brian LaCroix, vice president, Allina Medical Transportation, has worked as an emergency medical technician, paramedic, educator, author, peer counselor and manager. His experience includes participating in medical service projects in Nicaragua and France, and developing statewide emergency medical services in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
LaCroix serves on the Minnesota Emergency Medical Service Regulatory Board, the Hennepin County Emergency Medical Service Council and Allina Hospitals & Clinics' Policy Advisory Group.
As lead executive of Allina Medical Transportation, LaCroix leads more than 380 employees in Allina's mission of serving our communities by providing exceptional care.
Charles M. Lick, MD, medical director, Allina Medical Transportation, is responsible for all clinical care provided by our ambulance personnel. he also coordinates care and research activities with other emergency medical service providers.
A practicing physician, Lick treats patients in the emergency department at Buffalo Hospital.
Fueled by a passion to save lives, Lick led the launch of Heart Safe Communities, an effort to prevent death from sudden cardiac arrest by placing automated external defibrillators wherever people live, work and play. He is also involved in Operation Heartbeat, a national program of the American Heart Association that works with communities to improve sudden cardiac arrest survival.
